First day in the school

First day in the school

After hour an a half of driving with a lot of traffic, a lot of rain, and not music in my car, I arrived to the jewellery school, was so exciting, met new people, a nice teacher, and start to play with metal, being the first day we had not time to do to much, but we learn how to use a handsaw with blades thick as my hear and we catted Ireland (or something similar) and made the jump rings and welded to the piece. I forgot my camera at home (a senior moment) but I tuck this photo this morning of my almost Ireland. I think I’ll love this course, next week I can play with silver…

My Camera it’s starting to understand me.

My Camera it's starting to understand me.

It’s a normal digital camera, 12 mega pixels, make wonderful photos of flowers, insects, people, but hate my jewellery, don’t mind if I take the photo indoors or out, with more or lees lights, until last Friday… My camera decided to don’t be replaced and allow me to take this pick, I think we are starting to understand each other.

From the Natural Inspiration to my imagination

From the Natural Inspiration to my imagination

Today It’s raining, the sky it’s silver, the driveway it’s cover with leafs with different tones, from gold to brown, honey, yellow, cherry… Amazing colors of the nature, and I can see all of them form the window of my workshop. When I start to work I never know what I’ll do, until I have a finished piece in my hand. Then the difficult job star, make the perfect photo, my camera don’t like jewellery… 🙂

A Frog Freedom

A Frog Freedom

I suppose our little frog it’s trying to say something, to many weeds? It’s possible, the excuse, the weather, but we really have to start to control the weeds before the spring arrive, but I was outside for around 15 minutes and was could enough to run into the house and close to the fire. I think the poor frog have to wait a few more days to be rescue from the weeds

I finally did!!!

I did, thanks to a friend, after a full year trying to find a metalsmith course, I’m starting next week in the more exciting adventure of this time of my life.

Back to the school, play with fire, meet new people…
It’s so exciting and I’m so happy!!!

My poor Dragon

My poor Dragon

This morning we have the beautiful surprise of the visit of the Snow, It’s one of this things I really miss from Spain, the crunchy walking, the dry could, the black & white moments…
Today the snow won’t last, but was here for a visit making my morning so happy, and changing the color of my Dragon, I hope won’t crack with the could.

The Totem of Eerie Wisdom..

It was a difficult decision, I had a lovely list of names for my first pendant in copper, With my fabulous English I had to check the dictionary to translate a few of them and having the pendant in my hand and looking at the list a lot of times, I decided to mix two of the names and the totem of Eerie wisdom it is.

For the Spanish  the translation is: El Totem de la Misteriosa Sabiduria

I think It is a very cool name…
